Book Qiala to Speak at Your Event
I speak to the women in the back row. The ones who show up for everyone, then wonder where they went. Whether the room holds 30 or 3,000, my talks help women pause, remember, and return to themselves.

Qiala’s Keynote Topics
Every event is different. But the heart of my message stays the same: helping women slow down, get honest, and find their way back to themselves. Every talk comes from my own story and is rooted in my book and the C.O.M.B. Method: Call Her Back, Own Your Time, Move Scared, Become.
Name It to Claim It: From the Audience to the Stage
I had already written my way back to myself in First Name, Not Mom. Then I sat in an audience at work, watched a woman speak, and knew exactly what came next. This talk is for the people who have made work their whole world and stopped asking what they want for themselves. You are allowed to want something. Name it, and you can start to claim it.
Best fit: corporate events, women in leadership, employee resource groups, professional development days
The Questions She Stopped Asking
Rooted in Call Her Back, the first phase of my C.O.M.B. Method, this talk is about the quiet cost of stopping. Somewhere in motherhood, I stopped asking what I wanted, what was true, and who I was becoming. When I started asking again, I became a better mom, because I could finally help my son figure out who he was. Finding yourself does not take something from your kids. It gives them something. And sometimes the most honest answer is no.
Best fit: women’s conferences, parenting communities, mom-centered retreats, faith events
Move Scared
Fear of failing. Fear of disapproval. Fear of not being good enough. I felt all of it while writing my book, and I did it anyway. I set a deadline I would not miss, booked the signing before I felt ready, and kept it quiet until it was done. This talk gives any audience the same simple moves to stop waiting on courage and start before they feel ready. Not everyone will like you, and that is okay.
Best fit: any audience: conferences, retreats, corporate teams, community and faith events
“Real and relatable. Healing starts with you.”

About Qiala
I’m an author, speaker, founder of Still Becoming Media, and creator of Comb Through, a 12-week program built on the C.O.M.B. Method. My first book, First Name, Not Mom: The Rebirth Guide Back to You, is a memoir and a map for women who’ve quietly disappeared inside the lives they built. I speak to audiences who are tired of performing okay-ness and ready to come home to themselves.
I don’t promise quick fixes or five-step transformations. I offer presence, honesty, and language that meets women where they actually are. Whether the room holds 30 or 3,000, I show up the same way: as a witness, not a performer.
